They improve our metabolism resulting in the production of energy, strengthening intestinal wall linings, and provide critical aid in the proper functioning of the digestive system. Enzymes in the intestines help us break apart fats (of all kinds) and proteins.

Usage:
Treating leaky gut and numerous gut disorders (malabsorption and maldigestion). Also used in the treatment of pancreatic insufficiency, lactose intolerance, celiac disease, steatorrhea, thrombotic disease, mental retardation. Helps relieve inflammation and reduces infection. Bromelain enzyme in particular; is used as an anti-inflammatory to treat most kinds of inflammation.

most organically grown uncooked plants foods are great sources of enzymes.  Bromelain is found in pineapples, papain in unripe papya, kiwi, figs, coffee, green tea, cinnamon, tofu and olive oil
