Benefits:
Essential for numerous bodily functions, also known as vitamin B9. Needed to synthesize DNA, repair DNA, aid rapid cell divison and growth, produce healthy blood cells and prevent anaemia.

Usage:

In early pregnancy to prevent congenital malformations, (including congenital heart defects, cleft lips and limb defects), reducing homocystiene levels, risk of stroke in hypertension patients, depression, mental confusion, irritability and age-related mascular degeneration. Low folate intake protects against early carcinogenesi, and colorectal cancer.

romaine lettuce, beans, peas, baker's yeast, sunflower seeds, broccoli, cauliflour, beets, lentils, collard greens, parsely, spinach, asparagus, turnips greens, mustard greens and calf's liver
